Question A labour of love inquiry

Very curious as what cleaners/polishers and techniques, etc. you used to perform your labour of love.
The hood of my bimmer takes beating as far as tree saps, bird craps, stone chips, etc.
I am seriously thinking about repainting the hood but if there is any other alternative, I am open to it.

Might need a medium polish if its in bad shape (Meguiars has a nice 3 stage process but it will take you forever - plan on a full day).

Suggest you start with a claybar and some quick detailer though at least - its pretty good.

Search the detailing forum, there is a ton of info over there.

Or you could just PM Picus

I used all Maguires wax and detailing products. 3 Products in total. Only on a long weekend could I get away with doing something like that. The satisfaction is overwhelming!

Maybe repaint and install the 3M guard. My car is not a daily driver, therefore it doesn't take a beating.
