330e turned into X3 on dash

On turning the ignition on, my Blue 330e has turned into a grey X3. Anyone else have this anomaly?

That's odd. What car is shown on the infotainment screen when changing settings or driving mode?

Have you tried driving in a muddy field to see if you've gained 4x4?? ;-)

Maybe it has detected a driving style more suited to the X3.

I had this about 4 weeks in my 320i, when it happen the infotainment screen was completely dead as well. It was all normal when I got back to the car at the end of the day and started it up. Mentioned it to the dealer a few days later and they had not had that issue reported to them before so did a scan of the car and no faults had been stored.

This issue is a bug in certain versions of iStep. Take to dealer and they can update your car to current iStep. Hopefully it's fixed in current 11/2019.xx.

😊 possibly ...

Occurred twice and lost central screen at the same time, tried unsuccessfully to reboot.
Left the car for a few hours, started it up and it was fine, back to being a blue G20 again.

No. Only thing I have noticed and I assume it's just default is on the welcome screen you see the wrong steering wheel.

I've been watching DownshiftThrottle on YouTube, there are quite a few features like this you can enable. I would love the M style meters (nicer font). But worried about so many issues on other G20s out there...

My car was in stock when I got it but the sales person said the wheels listed on the sales order which were and extra £800 were not actually on the car and that’s why the price was adjusted additionally by that amount......

However when I start the car the picture shows the optional wheels and not the standard M-Sport ones I have I the car. Should the picture show my cars spec and the wheels I actually have?

Good question. I'd give a hesitant yes the picture will/should show your actual spec
because in my case although the app shows a standard 330i with chrome grille & standard wheels the IC shows Shadow grille & correct wheels.
