Snows Rotation?
I removed my snows today & a bitch it was.
Some reason the back tires where frozen on. Had bitch of time getting the rears off the car. Question: I have Blizzak WS-50 225/45QR-17. Since all four rims & tires are same size. When I mount my snows in December, should I rotate them? |

Yes, I have had my WS-50 for 3 years now and every year I switch from front to back. They do have a rotation arrow on the side wall so make sure you have them going in the right direction when you do it. By the way I could still run them for another year as the wear has not been excessive. As you have probably found out they spin easy on dry pavement so to help reduce the wear try not to take off to quick. Great tire.

I noticed that the rears were harder to get off when I put on my snows, I think its because we have rear wheel drive cars.

The reason is that a lot of crap gets between the tire and the hub and it binds. I applied anti-seize which should prevent this from happening in the future. See the following thread...
