Automatic Headlight on/off sensitivity

My headlights are often on (automatic setting on headlight switch) when it is quite bright out with sunlight all over the top of dashboard. Seems more likely when weather is cold. They will eventually switch off, but cars I've had before would go on when entering a tunnel and off within 5-10 seconds after leaving it. Anyone know a way to adjust it? Nothing in the owner's manual.

Not adjustable from the car, if it's possible it'll be in the coding parameters.

It can be coded with Bimmercode, E-sys etc. It's more of an issue when the weather is cold because that's also when the sun is low in the sky.

Will you post a screenshot showing that coding parameter from Bimmercode- I cant ferret out the designation.
Thanks/Bill

I don't remember offhand what it is, but I found it doing a search here in the coding section, probably in the Bimmercode thread.

I’ve not coded anything and mine seem to do their stuff when I would normally have switched the lights on. Pity the wipers aren’t as well thought out.

In BimmerCode:

Front Electronic Module > Lighting > Rain-light-sensor sensitivity

Options are:

Insensitive
Normal
Sensitive
Very sensitive
