Hi,

I dived into the hidden menu of our 2018 F36 420i, and it has lots of menu items I hadn't seen in previous threads about it.

For example, there was a 'DTC' section - which I guess is Diagnostic Trouble Codes (which was empty in my case).

There was also a 'Check' section that had a list of number strings in it that I didn't recognise. The top of the list was 01 0557 24995.

Anyone got any ideas what the 'Check' section covers and what the numbers mean?

The reason I was looking in the hidden menu is because the amber check engine light lit up solid (not flashing) earlier today, and has stayed lit. 'Check Control' shows 'no faults.' Engine running fine. Oil level shows 75% full.
Service is due in 1,300 miles but not getting the 'book service now' warning. Gas tank cap is secure.
