Is the Boot Mod 3 available for the N47 engine? Or any turbo Diesel engines?

All compatible engines are clearly listed on the Boot Mod 3 website. All are petrol/gas.

I emailed protuningfreaks a few months ago regarding the diesel units - they advised that they currently have no plans to develop Boot Mod 3 for diesels.

It's a shame - if the remap for the 30d unit was good, and it included options such as software EGR delete, I'd go for it immediately.

The remap has been wiped from my car by the dealer in the past and was a hassle having to make the drive to the remapper for the file to be installed again. They reapply for free, but they are 100 miles from home and it would be great to have a dyno-validated remap which I could reapply within a few minutes.

I appreciate the quick response and agree with you, it's a shame they aren't developing for the D. I'll continue looking into KermaTDI as an option and JW Tune as well.
