The carbon hood and roof surprised me the most! The roof has a larger weave and looks different than any other carbon fibre on any car I've seen including the formula 1 car that was at the show!

I don't know about that blue gold combo, especially when I mistook a BRZ at distance with the same livery for a CS!

At the auto show now and in person the color is much lighter than in the pictures so not as terrible looking but still not pleasant.

The M235i GC color is actually really interesting though, even if the car looks meh.

Apparently it is snapper rocks blue. Under the florescents in the hall it looks very different than the snapper rocks I have seen on the 4 in the wild.

Snapper rocks blue is like LBB with saturation cranked up IRL lol - that sucker is bright in natural sunlight, with a bit more of the turquoise tone that shines through.

I went and saw it Friday evening, looks aggressive, especially from the front. Hood, splitter, roof, but CF roof was an odd weave. The hood is awesome, sort of gets lost in pics, but in person was definitely very cool.

The most popular cars IMO, 1.M2C 2.Landrover Defender 3.RS6 Wagon.
People were all over the M2C, if judging by the show, the Blue on Gold did it’s job of getting attention, the color is much lighter than pics. I am not a fan of the gold wheels, black would be my choice.

I loved the Alcantara steering wheel FWIW. Also, great to see so many people getting in the car and rowing the gears. 6MT is what makes this CS different from recent CS models.

Did you manage to observe the rough percentage of people making engine sounds whilst doing this?

Check the saliva levels on the inside windscreen above the instrument cluster.

Ha funny.
It was just nice to see a manual after walking by a sea of automatics.
Manuals at the show by my observations were GTI, Veloster N, Jeep Wranglers, WRX, Speedster, GT4, & M2cs.

Named after Snapper Rocks in Queensland Australia (if BMW Australia can be believed - there is also a gorgeous Melbourne Red) so it must be a stunningly beautiful colour! Ok?
