Cream Leather and marks

Hi,

Sorry for yet another question, but currently spec'ing a new G21.

Has anyone who went for the cream leather run into an marking or staining issues? I have always had black leather before and love the lighter look but a little worried about the potential of marks or stains

Thanks

Never had an issue. New Blue Jeans will give a slight mark but its a 3 minute job with some leather cleaner once every few months.

I've had a few cars now with pale leather, and if you're prepared to clean the seats every so often then it's no big deal. Using Gtechniq leather guard makes it come off very easily.

Use BMW Leather cleaner, it works well.

BMW ivory white and oyster interiors look great, miles better than black, which makes for a really dark interior if you don't have a sunroof. They also contrast nicely with a dark exterior
Dr Leather makes some great products for maintaining the treated surface. If you stay on top of it and don't let dye transfer and dirt build up, light leather isn't a problem. I use Dr Leather Dye Block every six months or so, and their advanced formula leather cleaner every month or so, or whenever necessary. Easy to use too.
