Car stalling after an oil change, and issues with cruise control

So we had the oil changed last week, that's in another post, since then when starting the car it has completely stalled 3 times and the cruise will occasionally set itself to a speed that isn't what we request.

So the stalling goes like this. Start the car. Wait 10 to 30 seconds at least, put the car in gear, stall. First time it happened I had turned the car half way around in the driveway.
2nd time was just after starting it without even doing anything.
3rd time just happened at work. Started, waited about 20 seconds during which it was clearly struggling to stay running, said fk it and put it in gear and it stalled.

Temps have been about the same as before the oil change, all around freezing, let's say -5 to +5c.

As for the cruise control, hit the highway, do a steady 110(km) hit cruise button to turn it on, hit set or resume,( no previous cruise had been used prior), as either will set it initially, and it set itself to 96 one time and 102 another.
It's going back to the dealership for sure, but has anyone else hd anything similar happen?

Was the oil change done at a BMW dealership, if it was and the car is still under warranty it's their problem

Neither of your problems are related to the oil being changed. You need to run a diagnosis with an OBD diagnostic tool.

Yeah I don't believe either problem is related to it either per say, I'm thinking more so with whatever they do to reset the oil change service clock.

Maybe check the coils and spark plugs. They should replace all of them under warranty. There should be MIL and codes stored.

That's done in iDrive, it doesn't affect anything else. You can do it yourself, along with four or five other service interval resets.

Oh ok, I thought they hooked something to the car to clear/reset that code

You can reset it by holding down the trip reset button while the car is on without the engine running and it gives you several maintenance reminders to reset. Then you pick oil and hold it down a few seconds until the progress bar completes. You will see it in the gauge cluster display.

Or open the iDrive menu>vehicle info>vehicle status>service required. Click on the item, change the date due.

Sounds like a possible air leak. No check engine light?

DME = Digital Motor Electronics. You may have heard of ECU for Electronic Control Unit. Or PCM for Powertrain Control Module. Basically, it is the car's computer.
