F30 Driver window not working

I started to hear a minor clicking noise while rolling my driver window up and down. Today I was driving and I went to roll it up after having it down about halfway and it failed. No movement when the switch is pushed up or down. I hear the motor engaging but sounds just make a clicking type noise. The window moves freely up and down by hand. Possible window regulator failure it seems like to me?

Is this something the dealer would fix?

Dealer will repair; if car is out of warranty this is reasonably simple DIY job if you're handy with basic tools.

Are you asking if this is covered under manufacturer's warranty?

I was reading some other forums and in some circumstances it was a faulty production part and dealer covered the repair.

How old is the car, does it have any mods, has it been regularly serviced by BMW and does it have any existing warranty? Answers to these will help to determine what a dealer will do?

A dealer is willing to fix anything. Question is, are you willing to pay

But that's the window regulator. Grab yourself some torx, trim tools, and butyl tape. It's about an hr job.
