Do I have a faulty sensor?

Hey guys,

If I'm out of windshield washer fluid, should I be getting an alert through idrive?

I noticed I was out but haven't seen an alert. I know this may seem like a minor issue, but I also had a drivetrain malfunction alert over the weekend. I noticed the next day I didn't have any washer fluid.

The drivetrain malfunction cleared itself after a vehicle restart, but now I'm thinking something more is happening..

...how old is car's battery? (Marginal battery can cause odd electronic behavior)
