How to get list of packages/options/etc. for my e90

Howdy all,

How can I obtain a list of packages/options/etc. for my e90?

Selling our 2006 325i. Like to give the official original info. to prospective buyers.

Haven't called the dealer but can. Rather learn how to do it myself!

Many thanks,
Reed.

the issue with those vin decoder, is you can't tell what the 1st owner didn't picked.

I found this pdf on post #5, but there's no 325, and I'm pretty sure option list would be different for each country and each e90 model/revision.

went to the deal to get the original option list and they can't even get the service history, so that was a fail. I can't believe they can't have access to a dealer history from literally 11 km driving distance apart. they had to call the dealer to get this info for me...

All of my 3 BMW's VIN decoder printouts match what my cars have for options, and the output doesn't list options that aren't on the cars. If you run your VIN thru the listed free decoder, do you get different information than the PDF example you showed (which looks like a price list for installed options)?

yeah, the vin decoder is working, but hard to tell which equipment were an option and which were not.

i.e., for my E91 on the vin decoder , its says that I have fog light, but iirc in n/a all e91 got fog. same for roof railings or acoustic belt warning.

With those pdf Ive also learned that LCI e91 got the option of the aesthetic M pack, keyless start and executive pack. which pre-lci e91 didnt got.

BMW option list is very complicated, you can choose package, or simply some options in that package. No surprised here why most e9x owners dont take chances, and call all their cars ''fully equipped''

we can certainly agree that no car is ever fully equipped

but at least there's a way to select most option.

i.e., at the dealer if you take all the package, the e91 won't get the heated steering well because of the M pack. In that case, ''it miss'' an option that other E90 can get, but since the owner takes everything that he could on the list, he can say his bmw is full loaded.

Unfortunately, since a fully loaded e91 was the price on a M3, not much were sold, about 10 in 6mt configuration in canada...
