I was hopeful for this thing, but I am just not feeling the way it looks.

Looks alright. Still not a fan of the digital instrument cluster.

busy front end...but i like the back end a lot. wonder how much of that will carry over to the next gen 2 coupe?

Why do we need this? BMW is forever polluting their brand. Wish they would have stuck with even number = 2 doors, odd = 4 doors that they supposedly switched to when the 2 series first came out. Looks like an expensive corrolla.

Said this on the other thread but the only redeeming factor for me is the front seats — E36 vader throwbacks?! Amazing. Otherwise pretty disappointing all around from an aesthetic standpoint.

Man, that is one ugly car. I was secretly hoping that maybe one day there was going to be an M2 sedan that looks great. My hopes are gone.

I think overall it looks great if somewhat less distinctive but pictures can be so deceiving... I particularly like the back end and the updated interior.
