2007 328i Weird Taillight Issue
Right Taillight Malfunction - Trying to figure out an unusual electrical situation with my right taillight assembly. All bulbs have been checked and good. Recently replaced both bulb holders hoping that would fix the problem. These bulb holders are ‘L” shaped style where top bulb is turn signal, center bulb is taillight and double bulb bottom row is brake lights. When the lights are on, the left assembly works perfect. The right assembly has 2.3v-2.5v constant voltage going to both of the bottom brake light bulbs. The center taillight bulb which is supposed to be powered has nothing. All light functions work normally (turn, brake) but in taillight mode, the left is fine and the right has brake light illuminated. Any thoughts on how to determine where this source voltage is coming from and why center bulb does not have 12v?

I have the same issue with my rear taillight. I have replaced the bulbs and cleaned the electrical contacts. The right side of my rear taillight goes from dim to completely off randomly. Have you had any luck fixing this issue?
