Bridgestone VS Pirelli

Hi everyone,

Just picked up my 2019 xDrive30i. It came with 19" Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S RFT. A lot of cars on lot had Bridgestone Duelers - I am happy because reviews of Pirelli are so much better than Duelers

I don't have a M-Sport package so I am wondering if it's just luck on which tires you get

Ride is super smooth and I love the car. Thanks!

Their is one big bonus with the Pirelli run flats. They come with a road hazard warranty at no cost. Just read the little booklet from Pirelli that came with your owners manuals

It paid off for me. At 5,000 miles my left front tire developed some sort of blister. Replaced for free, including mounting, etc. under that warranty.

What wheels did you get? My X4 came with the 19" 692 and the Duelers. Maybe the wheel choice has something to do with which tires they put on. Regardless, I am super jealous.

Mine came (in UK) on run flat Pirelli P Zeros.

Been ok so far! Think adaptive suspension softens the ride.

Are those all seasons, or summer performance?

It's a dilemma in the UK, even in Glasgow temps don't drop much below 5C unless you drive a lot deep into the night. Winter tyres are a marginal requirement. Summers work pretty well. Mostly.

My X3 was in shop yesterday for the rear camera recall. Service guy said my tires, bridgestone duellers were about done at 36k miles and said they'd install 19" Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S RFT's for $324/tire. So I go to tirerack, they had the P7's on sale...some new old stock at $148.58 vs the new 2019's at $283. I snapped those babies up will be here Tuesday. If any of you guys want a deal on the P7's this is it. The customer service guy said their is nothing wrong with the tires, just that they are 2015/16.

I have same 19" 692 wheels. I went on a long 300km drive today and RFTs make relatively more noise & make for a bumpy ride even on better roads. I come from Audi & Non Runflats were so much quieter & smooth. I noticed though, it was much smoother when I was going faster.

Hmm, I don't know why you got Pirellis over Duellers. I just put my non-RF winter Pirelli Sotto Zeros on today (a little early but I got them from Costco and decided to get them installed) and noticed a big difference in the ride. I also have an Audi so I am used to the non-RF feel, A/S or winter.
