Dead on hard acceleration
My 2015 F36, 32k miles in sport mode, died this morning on hard acceleration. No electrical except for cabin fan blowing. It didn't go into limp mode or anything. Just dead. Could it be the Charge Pipe? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did it start back up? Or it is now dead?

I don't have a possible solution, but it would be helpful to the more knowledgeable folks if you could list mods, etc. that might help diagnose. Bone stock?

Can you give us some more details? What is your model list? What happens when you try to start the car? Does the engine turn over or no? Describe more please and I would be glad to help if I can!

defenitley not your charge pipe, it would start but run like crap/limp mode. if it doesn't do anything at all, like lights on dash or crank, it's probably electrical. maybe check your battery terminals for contact or corrosion? hard to say more w/o more info.

Thanks for the responses! Just got it a month ago. Bone stock 435i gran coupe. Love it so far (except the stereo). Definitely going to get the charge pipes swapped soon. |
