BMW Performance Steering Wheel...

Anyone install on a 2007 e90? I'm having install issues. I get power to the steering wheel but no information is being displayed. The display lights up but its like the car and the steering wheel are not communicating. The instructions are pretty good up untill the part where you connect to the CAS unit. The instructions leave to much for interpretation. I think this will work for my car but I think the instructions are written for 2008 cars.

Any suggestions?

I had mine installed by Erhard BMW in Bloomfield Hills, MI. I think the tech was Jeff.

The instructions are pretty good. Some stuff was wrong because I installed mine in the M3 but other than that it was smooth sailing.

What did you see wrong with the instructions?

I have an 07 and mine works great, make sure you put the pins in the 40 pin connector and not the OBD connector, the diagram in the instructions leads you to believe your supposed to splice into the OBD connector.

The instructions for the A and B wires in the diagram to the ODB port were wrong. Pins weren't there for the M3 application. My guess is that you incorrectly replaced the old harness.
