Turn off hybrid sound in electric mode?
Did anyone here find a way to switch off the electric noise on the G20 330e when running in electric mode only? Doubt it that since the first cars only just began delivery but hey.
Got all I need to code it out if possible. My F30 was stealth mode and I want the same Regulations, blah blah blah excluded. |

As far as I believe European law states the car manufacturer must put a sound in the car but there's no law forbidding customers to disable it, right? Haven't heard of a coding option yet though. I doubt bmw will add this to idrive ever because of the regulations.

Yeah I was told by the dealer that it can be disabled when I placed the order (as it showed up as a mandatory option on the spec list) but didn't really believe them.
Maybe someone will work it out with the likes of e-sys etc |

Hard to tell, you can't hear it from the inside, like an electrical noise, only heard it once when I test drove the dealer's 330e
Might try to get a clip next time I'm down there since I can't record on my own car |
