Just recently got my G20 M340i about a month ago. My previous daily driver was 2000 E46 323i, so huge leap in term of engine, features, etc.. I'm getting acclimated to iDrive and got most of my preferences set as I like it.

I've been wondering, with the folks that have iDrive on other models, do you know the frequency BMW pushes out iDrive updates? Is it quarterly, yearly, longer?

My G20 was shipped with 03/2019, but somewhere else I read that some G20's out there are getting shipped with 07/2019.30. Since the updates are now OTA, has there been any updates released OTA with the G20 yet? Does anyone have a guess when a OTA iDrive update will be released?

No OTA yet and BMW themselves don't know when it will be available on our cars. However, there is a newer update available but you will have to schedule an appointment at your local dealer to get it.

Ps. Congrats, i had a Steel Blue 323i back in the day lol, it was my very first E46 years ago.
