QQ about front brake pads

I just rotated the tires on my 07 335i coupe.

I checked out my front brakes ... the pad on the outside has lots of life, the pad on the inside (from what i could see) looked almost non existent.

I tried to get a better view of the inside pad ... but couldn't. I think it is actually blocked by the caliper - is this correct?

My wear sensor has not gone off and my front brakes do not vibrate supremely bad.

I just don't remember if you can see the whole rear pad or if it's blocked from view b/c of the caliper.

If the outside has barely any use probably your guide pins need a cleaning or replacement.

They’re used I’m just saying is it common to not see the full inside pad when inspecting from the top w the wheel off
