License Plate Renewal Refund?

Do you guys know if I can get a refund on a sticker. I just a sold a car that has stickers till december 09. do you think I can get refunded for 2009?

what do I need?

btw i am in ontario

Just bring your license plate back to the licensing office... then you can get a refund.

can only the owner go and get the refund...ie my dad

or can me or my mother go and get it?

I am sure your mom can go and return the plate and they will most likely send the cheque to your home.

They will mail you the refund Ck when you return your plate + sticker. But it will not be a lot tho, depend when it expires. If it's just the plate itself , sticker expired.then..you get nada, zero, zip. Nothing etc etc
