Yet another case of a blown oem charge pipe... luckily I have a CTS Turbo charge pipe handy. Trying to remove the intercooler, but it's dead stuck. Removed the devilish black clamps and C-rings from both charge pipes, removed both 25/27mm Torx screws from the intercooler, unclipped the intercooler from the radiator/fan shroud/whatever the hell it is, and it still won't budge. I've watched DIY BMW Guy and Kies Motorsports, and it appears as though the intercooler should just drop after doing the above. Am I missing something?

I think I remember a little black shroud type thing on my F30 that was in the way and needed to be bent a little bit to get it out...?

Completely forgot about this thread, but yup! There was a black shroud blocking my way. I ended up making slits on both ends with a boxcutter.
