Number Plate fitment
Hi All,
Just wondering what people have done in terms of mounting the number plates on a G20. Does the car come with holes in the front bumper from the factory or does the dealer have to put holes in? I’ve got Lakin plate brackets on my F30 which are really good & I was thinking of doing that again on the new car. Thanks for any insights you might have. |

There's no hole on the front bumper. The dealer will screw the plates on directly into the bumper and make the holes at the same time.
I bought a full-size euro plate bracket and asked them to mount the screws towards the middle so I can use a smaller bracket when it's time to sell the car. |

Front Number Plate Mounts
What is the consensus on how your car was supplied with the front number plate fitment? On my cars In the past the plates have been fixed flat to a plastic surround which is moulded to the shape of the bumper. Took delivery yesterday and the front plate on mine has been fixed directly to the bumper and is therefore not flush. Interested to see if it's been missed or if this is the usual practice. Thanks.
