Dash cam install, rear boot fuse

Hi all,

Have been trying to install the Blackvue 900 on a G01 X3 30d.

I have run all the cables and tried to use the back fuse box to connect a cellink neo battery to enable parking mode.

This has been an issue as the fuses I have tried F273 (rear cig lighter) and F207 (* reserved but empty) both come back with the message from the cellink neo battery of 'warning low voltage' - I can see it drawing 11-12V. For reference the other installs I have done on my M3 and X1 draw >13V and there is no 'warning low voltage' issue.

The battery hence does not effectively charge and thus doesn't work to power the dash cam.

Does anyone have any experience or know which fuse to use, and if I am doing something incorrect?

I have seen many people use the front right passenger fuse box fuses F46/47 to connect to the cellink neo battery which I will try if no luck with the above.

Cheers David

I used F207. There is no voltage there when the vehicle is off. It has 12 vdc when the vehicle is started.
My dashcam charges itself up when you are going along. Not sure this helps but thought I would pass on how F207 functions.

Thanks Radar314!

I revoked at everything and realised I had connected the ground to the plastic holder for the rear fuse box! So I repositioned to under the plastic holder and all good!

This is the pic of the ground connected incorrectly. It needs to be under the plastic holder (duh!)

Many thanks
Dave
