As expected, no Tartfufo. Not sure what BMW is thinking by limiting the interior color options for a popular vehicle.

Agreed, I'd love to see an Ivory/Tartufo combo as they offer for the 8 series. If I had to chose an interior now it would be the Ivory/Night Blue full leather

I would have definitely gotten Tartufo on my 2020 X5 if it was available. The only reason I can imagine that BMW no longer offers it is that they somehow can’t produce enough to meet demand. They still offer it on the X7, but it’s limited to the 6 seat (captain’s chairs) configuration.

Yeah, only black, brown and white leather options. Very limited for a vehicle in this price range.

But look, no wrinkles Yeah right.

Tartufo is still my favorite interior color, like I mentioned we need the two tone offering with Ivory/Tartufo You night be right, Coffee is too dark for my taste and Tartfuo seems to be very popular as a whole

Wouldn't a better method to limiting sales because they can't meet demand be to jack up the price of it?

Possibly since Tartufo is sooo popular, they are limiting it on those models they want to increase the sales of.

BMW is extending my current lease for up to 3 months and submitting build for this month for PCD this fall. Can't decide between MWM or Phytonic Blue

Also for individuals interested in M50i suspension options DHP and 2VR 2-axle air suspension.

Confirming that cannot order both - DHP is not compatible with 2VR 2-axle air suspension just as 2019 50i M Sport

Also confirming if you are interested in Ivory White/Night Blue Extended Merino or Full Merino, Alcantara headliner in upholstery color is blue.

Alcantara headliner in upholstery color in any other Full Merino interior is ivory, yes this includes black full merino. If you want black - select Anthracite Alcantara

I have mocha kappa currently in my F15, love it. Was thinking of switching it up but I'll most likely go MWM or PB with coffee.

Considered glass, since this is another lease - it'll give me something to look forward to in 3 years
I might switch to the 20"s from 21"s until more 21" A/S become more available.

M50i is too rich for my blood - I attempt to set limits, eg 80K the year but +100K plus is more than I really need unless I'm making VP money - maybe in 3 years

Hitch, it's something I've never used. I just lug the Bullies and bike in the trunk, though not both at the same time. Looking forward to the 2-axle air cause lugging these two in and out of the F15 is a workout

I have Mineral White on my 2014 X5 and I’ve really enjoyed it. Very easy to keep clean and doesn’t look bad when dirty. I was ready for a change so I’m going with Phytonic Blue on my G05.

Weird how for the M50i the X6 has carbon trim option yet the X5 doesn't let alone for just 300$

The factory can do it with minimal wrinkles if they just try. I can't complain about the wrinkles in my MY2020.

Also as expected, Cognac vernasca leather is gone in 2020. BMW just doesn't want my money. This would have been my second choice after Tartufo. Wonder what the rationale is behind those decisions. It's just dying the hides by the supplier, no? I don't see a shortage of cows/cattles or related animals.

I found this BMW memo online, makes me hopeful that Tartfulo will be back soon. It makes no sense to discontinue such a popular color. I was close to ordering but won’t until it’s an option again.

Woodcliff Lake, NJ – August 1, 2019… Information on design and technical changes, as well as changes to standard equipment, lines, packages and standalone options are included in this document.

This document will be continuously updated with the most recent MY20 information as it becomes available.

The following upholsteries on X5 (G05), X6 (G06), and X7 (G07) models are not currently (Aug 2019) available for order but will be re-introduced at a later date.
Canberra Beige Vernasca Leather
Cognac Vernasca Leather (available on G07 w/Captain’s Chairs only)
Extended Tartufo Merino Leather (available on G07 w/ Captain’s Chairs only)
Full Tartufo Merino Leather”
Amarone Merino Leather

Thanks for this info, it is quite encouraging. I will try to hold off until Tartufo makes a come back.

Correcting my previous post, I had a test build of the BYO BMW and the headliner options have been fixed:

1. Anthracite alcantara headliner is available with full black, coffee and ivory interiors

2. Alcantara headliner in upholstery color is available with full ivory and ivory/night blue interiors
