DV+ easier during DP install?

I'm prepping to do an I/C, C/P and D/P install on my 435i. Is the diverter valve easier to reach from the backside with the D/P out of the way? If so I'll order it, if not I'll hold off until I have access to a lift.

No extra space to install with the DP removed.

You can manage with just unbolting water pump and move it out of way but it's a pain trying to wiggle your way in to remove DV screws.
