I officially placed an order for a 2020 X6 xDrive 40i with the Spartanburg plant, through my CA, today. Awaiting production information.

I placed one as well. Replacing the 2017 X6. After I got my wife her 2019 X5 M sport I needed the redesigned interior. Then I needed the M50i, and well from there it just got out of hand! (executive package, dynamic handling package, drivers assist package, B&W, Acoustic glass, carbon fiber trim, 21" M wheels, shadowline trim)

Sounds like a great build. I have found Dynamic Handling Package a necessity, having also had it on my October lease ending '17 X6. When did you place your order to get a 9/5 build date?

8/5 is when I secured an order, but waited about another week to get a production slot.

To OP and mspete, do you know whether there is any improvement to the headroom in the rear? Also, did the dealer offer you any discount off MSRP given that it's a first year model? Thanks

I don't think I can deal with the current interior Trims since I'm getting black interior..... Gonna have to wait til Dec SOP to get Piano Black

Feel that Arctic gray makes for sense than a black color since the you have to deal with the lighter gray/olive section in the rear and the sides. Black will make it stand out too much. Arctic kind of blends in.

Don't forget peeps to order the spare tire for $150 if you get run flats, it's a no brainer since it's like $300-600 to buy it later on. Sell it on eBay if you don't use it, cause we spend $90k plus on a car and need the profit back like a hole in our heads!

I got 5.5% under sticker, and a good deal on my 17 X6. There is also $750 in loyalty on top of the 5.5

Agreed! I disliked the trim choices, but settled on carbon for an extra $300. The spare was thrown in since I went non-runflat 21" But that was an additional $950 to get non-runflat over runflat.

I dislike that you can't get black wheels with sport package (or m50) in 21inches. Gonna have to get them painted.

I got 5% under sticker, on an $86K build, with a clean return on my '17 X6. There is also $750 in loyalty on top of the 5% plus $1,000 from BMWCCA.

Oh oh. Your spec just triggered a question in my mind. I assumed "Heated Front Seats Armrests & Steering Wheel" included front heated seats generally but am now wondering if I need the front and rear heated seats option to get them in the front. These options and wording make things complicated!
