DRLs Not Running

Aren’t the DRLs supposed to run at all times during the day? I have the laser headlights with the nicer DRLs and sometimes I notice on the reflection from the car in front of me that they aren’t on in the middle of the day. I assume this is not normal? I went around with the engine still running just to verify and they were definitely out.

I can't remember if our in the US are always enabled, but do you have the setting to activate and deactivate them?

Car > Settings > Exterior lighting > Daytime Running Lights

I’ve been in there before but don’t recall disabling them. I just looked and it was unchecked so I checked it and they are on now. Thanks for the tip!

Interestingly, the graphic shows them on whether the option is checked or not, just some additional light is shown on the ground in front of the graphic when the DRL option is selected.

I'm glad it worked out for you. I should probably check that mine is still checked too since it's not something I'd ever check again after initial set-up.

Yeah, I like the look of the laser ones and have CB as well. I guess I’ve been driving around for past 2 months without. It’s the first car I’ve had that has the option to disable them without coding and didn’t realize they had been turned off.

It parts the left lane like a laser beam. Oh that’s right we have laser beams.
