Interesting X5 50i vs Model X comparison
I just came across this video that compare Model X with x5 50i:
I currently drive a Tesla Model S P90D with Ludicrous mode and have a BMW X5 M50i on order - agree with most of what they say. I too was comparing Model X and BMW X5 till a couple of weeks back and for me, the biggest issue with Tesla is that they have not updated anything from interior or exterior look and feel since pretty much the time Model X launched 5 yrs or so back. I test drove a P100D and it felt identical to my 3yr old Model S. The luxury elements that one finds in BMW - massage and ventilated seats, 360 view, merino leather, LED roof (even blind spot monitor !) - are all missing in Tesla. I love the acceleration and instant torque of my car - M50i will be significantly "slower" (for that matter, even X5M will be) but except for that instant torque thrill, BMW wins on most other counts. For me personally, the best car would be Tesla's electric motors tied with BMW's luxury elements. Wondering if others cross-shopped between the two and their thoughts. |

I believe over 100 mph and so on you will see the real winner. However, not so many occasion in reality that driver will have chance to drive over 100 mph. I think on highway like I88 or 355 after 100mph X5M will beat all tesla. I would have one of the model S after M car in my garage.
I used to stop at the redlight with P100D and i knew they gonna blew me away when green light. I only rev engine to get my exhausted sound when light turn to green i just got off slowly and chill and.... yes they’re gone lol

I could not tell whether they were driving the latest Model X (Raven)? I understand the suspension is significantly better in the Raven. I have not been impressed with ride quality of any of the Teslas, but the new adaptive suspension in the S and X may change my mind.
The X5 with black sapphire/tartufo merino leather looks sharp. Great options on their tester. |

I have nothing against electric cars but ill always take a proper engine over an electric motor as long as they keep making them.
