car seems louder and quicker before op temp
I don't know if this is a normal or not, but it seems my first few minutes of driving the car seems quicker and sound from the intake seems MUCH louder as well as spooling sound from the exhaust. just curious if this is normal, maybe car has advanced timing or something else happens until it reaches operating temperature?
I'm FBO (catless), running MHD 2+, and car has 56k miles.

I wonder if it is the colder air in the morning. The colder air should have more oxygen (concentration wise) since the air are more dense and oxygen is the key to combustion.

The intake tract isn't heat soaked.

could be heat soak, do you guys notice the same symptoms in your cars? I thought maybe their was some type of choke until the car reaches normal temps but it could be because the engine is hotter and circulating hotter air by that time. thanks

yes car runs better when cold... that's why the performance mode for cooling on MHD does feel faster since the engine doesn't get as much heat soak...
