Has anyone experienced a vibrating noise coming from the steering column in a 2019 X5 when they the column lowers per the memory setting when enter the vehicle. My vehicle is a June build but didn’t start doing this until after 1k miles. Now it does it intermittently.

Hmm, that's strange. I have not experienced what you describe.

I know exactly what you mean! mine has been doing the same sound when it lowers/adjust the steering column down when you crank the car. It sounds like the gears that lower the steering column needs some grease... going to take it to the dealer one of these days. Mine has 3k, if you adjust your column enough where it doesn’t adjust during start you can work around the sound.

Yep, mine cracks and pops in both directions, up and down. Not every time though. Didn't seem to make the noise when I manually move it up and down.
