Scratches from load cover

On my new to me X3, there are a few surface scratches on the textured plastic panels where the load cover has been extended in the past.

Any suggestions for removing these?

I've got them. It is really easy to do. Mine won't rub out as are too deep and the car is only 6 weeks old ! All down to me. I wouldn't worry about them as you will get them back ... they can't be seen really so I'm not bothered. Not the greatest design by BMW !

Likewise. Surely some brilliant Bavarian engineer could have figured out that the load cover is wider than the side pillars when pulled perfectly horizontally! . If anyone has any suggestions re polishing out I would to hear - thanks!

Good advice; I'll grind mine down a touch.
