Any X4M owners?

I have seen a few X3M owner reviews but no X4M. Anyone have one or one on order. If I were to get either I would chose X4M , actually I want to see new X6M. I prefer lower roof line

I actually picked up an X4M Competition on July 9th. I have had a M235, M4, and M3 Competition prior to the X4M. Overall I think I like the X4M the most for my needs. It doesn’t have the violent power of the M3/4 but it is just as fast, if not faster. There is plenty of creature comforts and ride quality is nice. I think it is a great blend of performance and comfort for a daily, family hauler.

I will admit I’m looking forward to what the aftermarket brings!

I like you have a m235 , which I like but it's too small with 2 growing teenagers. So my new M340 x drive will be here in 2 weeks . I almost ordered a X4M like you but did want to stretch the budget. Maybe next time

I prefer the rear hatch like feature of the x4 vs the X3 tail gate.

This is still our grocery getter

However, my experience with the resale of the g02 has been trash.

"X4 / x6 are the riskiest models in the bmw lineup up"

"No one wants these models "

I've been offered 46k trade in on a 63.5k build . MY19 x4 with 6800 miles.

I would consider leasing an x4m but wouldn't buy it.

Same with a rwd 2 seat coupe/convertible, lease those or buy used.

Resale on niche cars always sucks

My X4MC says AWAITING CARRIER ASSIGNMENT on the tracking page so maybe I'll have it soon-ish.

You don't really buy a M for comfort though. Mercedes AMG usually is better for max power plus comfort. But remember that the comfort takes away from the sporty part of it. Sport and comfort usually don't go together.

This is what is so funny to me about all the reviews knocking the ride quality. They are comparing it to standard SUVs. You can't do that. What they really should be saying is "compared to the M3 it's ride quality is..."
From my short 15 minutes in one and back to my M3 I can tell you it's no worse than the M3.

I agree with you 100%! All the reviews I saw were comparing to non performance SUVs. Whenever I drove it for the first time I thought it was softer than my M3 while still having solid response and turn in. If I change to sport or sport +, it is just as stiff as my previous M cars in sport. I think it has a very good balance in comfort. In comfort it is stiff but still forgiving enough for daily use.

I sense I need to qualify what comfort means to me. Echoing earlier comment: parity with M3/4 or better.

Got a call saying it'll be at the dealer next week. Does anyone know where I can buy painted rear reflectors? I found the front reflectors at IND. Adding tinted windows and a clear bra later this month and that'll do it as far as mods go. That is until I get an M2c or Cayman next year (don't tell my wife).

X4MC not X3MC . They emailed me and will confirm tomorrow if the rears for the X4 M40i fit.

My local dealership got a Dark Graphite X4Mc in so I had to go check it out.

When I sold my M3 I almost bought an X4 M40i, but M40i didn't really excite me so when the X4M came out I had to change direction.

I loved the one my dealership had, I am now super excited about the one I have on the way and it's gonna be a tough time waiting. I didn't get to drive it but looks wise I'm sold.

The lighting in there was not good so pictures didn't come out.

Congrats on your X4MC. Were you able to get a discount on a ordered X4MC?

I ordered though a military program while I was deployed, so yes I got a good deal.
