If you are thinking about buying that tall blue metallic BMW insulated coffee cup from BMW be aware that it’s paint comes off on the cup holders.

and they all last about 2 or 3 trips through the dishwasher before most of the paint comes off, cheap ass things!

I have the white ones and the wife uses her every day no issues yet. Always dish washer them too. LOL must be the color

To your point - even the Thermos one's that come in metallic blue and black - and Thermos is supposed to be a reputed leader in the coffee mugs and drinks space - chip off. I learnt it after my first one and then when I wanted to buy the 2nd one, I bought a plain stainless steel finish one without any paint Now both look the same.
