Do I have to go to a dealership for maintenance?
My car is 20K right now and I don't have warranty for maintenance because I bought a used car.
I was planning to go to Coast Motor Werk BMW and MINI Cooper Specialists (CMW) just because it just takes 5 minutes to go there. And my friend told me it's better to go to dealership rather going to CMW for maintenance. I don't exactly know what's better if it's better to go dealership or CMW is better. Do I have to go to a dealership for maintenance? |

Absolutely not... I would venture a guess that most people on here don't after the warranty is over. So long as the independent shop you go to is a good one, you're usually going to get better prices and just as good of work with an indy. Just do some research and find a good shop with a good reputation.

And keep your oil change and any other maintenance receipt for future warranty work. |
