Probably just the brake pads. Check to see how much brake pad you have left. If you're within spec then just do a couple of hard stops from like 90-40. Should go away.

it's most likely the brake sensor, it's a plastic piece that is on the passenger rear and drivers side front tire. I had the same problem. Had to get the dealership to shave it down. Don't have any noise anymore

The man speaks the truth! Had the same problem, it was the break sensor. There should be a bulletin up already for this. They just replaced the sensor and the pads on both rear brakes to be sure with mine. Just head to the dealership, they should take care of you.

yeah, i have the same problem.
i'm going to take it to dealer for check up on Monday. Bought the car from BJ BMW and service at AutoWest. BRIAN JESSEL has the worst service in the country... ridiculous long waiting time for any service. |

yeah, take it to other BMW dealer for service.. avoid going to BJ BMW.
I booked my appointment 3-4 weeks in advanced and specific requested for a BMW courtesy. They told me they don't have a BMW loaner when i was at the BJ; so i cancel the appointment and make a phone call to BMW Canada and file a complaints. BMW Canada will give them a bad rating if you file a complains. Hope the complains will give us a better services |

correct. But i believe you can get the brake pads under warranty if their is an actual defect on them. (Eg brake dust, excessive noise)..But you will have to pay to replace if it is all worn out (self used)
