How to remove the rear m sport diffuser

Hey bmw brothers,

How can you remove the rear diffuser on an msport? I have a 2 series LCI, but that forum is extremely unactive. I assume that it takes apart the same. I want to do this without removing the bumper. Im planning to convert a 230i to a 240i style dual exhaust, while removing the resonator and muffler. Also this is a lease, is this ok to do? Its kind of a grey area. I even contacted bmw and asked for their permission (dont want a repeat of what happened with that m4 guy) and they said the engine light could come on or i might have to replace the entire exhaust, but some other dealerships said it would probably be ok.

There's 5 total 8mm or 10 mm screws (can't remember exact size) 2 on each side and one in the middle. There's clips up top where it connects to the actual bumper. Just pull upward at 45 degree angle while pressing on the bumper still attached to the car and it the clips should start popping out. It's very easy to do. I did mine in about 15 minutes. There's YouTube videos too. Hope this helps!
