Oil Leak Problem.

Hello,

I own a 328i e93 2009 currently at 90k miles

4 months ago I had a oil leak and it was the valve cover leaking and I changed it and changed the oil. 1 week later it showed that Engine Oil Level below minimum. I kept adding 1 liter every while when it showed that alert then im good for one week till it comes back again. I took it to the garage last week and we raised the car and there was no leak at all during the 3 hours waiting there. He suggested that I change the oil from 5/40 to 10/40 and it will be fixed. So i emptied the 5/40 and replaced it with 10/40. 1 week later I get low engine oil level again while there is no leaking and no smoke indicator of oil being burned. Any suggestion?

Is there a reason why you are not using stock 5w30? My 142k miles 06 325 needs a bottle every 9 months
