Hey guys, i was at a dealership earlier putting together a 335 and i was looking at the 2009 ordering list since they didnt have what i wanted in the inventory.

there is no more premium package...it is now called an executive package. there is also a navi package, audiophile sound package and the sports package.

Executive Package:
heated steering wheel
alarm system
universal garage door opener
comfort access
auto dimming mirrrors
compass mirror
park distance control

Navi:
BMW on-board navigation
voice control

Audiophile Sound Package:
SIRIUS Satellite Radio Tuner
USB Audio intergration
BMW Individual Audio System with Dirac Live Technology

Sports Package:
18" Style 189 with...performance run flats
Sports Seats
High Gloss Shadow Liner
Anthracite Roof Liner

now you can still get some things as individual options, but i do not see comfort access there or PDC so you may possibly only get it with the Exec. package now.

BTW, i was overlooking the colors and interior options...i did not see Coral Red on that list, not sure if they will still be offering it or not.

+1 i am wondering the same thing.
it seems like i will be steering away from the Exec. package because it will probably be quite expensive (didnt get the final pricing on the package). looks like ill be getting: Sports Package, Metallic Paint (Black Sapphire), 6AT w/ paddles, USB Audio Intergration. Not sure if i should get the heated steering wheel (additional option) or not. my mom actually has it on her X3 and loves it and ive used it a few times as well...its pretty nice.

Thanks for this Did you actually receive this info from the dealer (i.e. email, brochure, printout, etc.) or did you only see it on the Client Advisor's screen? I ask because I'll be visiting a dealer asap if you can get either an email or hard copy of the available options list.

well i do have one print out that he did make a copy of for me which includes most of the info i posted up, as well as the individual options you may select...as for the color combos for interior/exterior he didnt print that out for me but i saw it. there is NO pricing on the printout i have unfortunately. i would assume the sports package will probably stay the same or go up a little bit, but i can see the executive package costing more than the current prem. package.

im not 100% sure if this is the complete options list or not because there is no dual clutch transmission option...maybe we're just not getting that though. if you would like a copy for personal use i would be more than happy to scan it and email it to you, just PM me.

2009 Options reflect some interesting changes.

- Audiophile Sound Pkg., is this similar to Audi's B&O ?
- New i-drive and Nav.
- Exec. Pkg.
The 2009 options look like the Audi A5 / S5 Pkgs.
Also, new badging, no more xi and x-drive badge on the front ?

BMW Assist
Bluetooth
HiFi system w/ 10 speakers
Dakota Leather

still no official pricing yet though.

i agree. i was always puzzled with BMW selling $50,000 cars that didnt have leather standard

According to my SA, 2-3 weeks before they would be available in Canada in mid October, so that makes it late September.

My question is how much they will raise the price. I guess raising it is a given, but they'll probably throw more standard stuff in that used to be optional, like leather...
