Re: 2009 328i sedan, N52K engine. I am in the process of organizing for an eccentric shaft sensor replacement and have run up against a problem trying to find the proper valve cover bolts. There is a set/kit BMW part #11120409288 and the general word is that it will not fit a 2009 N52K. I am trying to find out if this is accurate. A valve cover replacement video for a 2009 reveals 19 edge + 3 center bolts, which is what is in the kit, and they don't look that much different that what comes off there. Also, the dude on the video was reusing his bolts, which is not recommended by others. Can anyone offer any insight into this issue?

You don't need to replace the bolts. You have a plastic valve cover and steel bolts. The bolts only need to replaced with the magnesium valve cover, because they are made of aluminum.
