Clutch unlock valve for 2000 M Roadster

I have a 2000 M Roadster and was told by a speed shop that I could gain more control by taking out the clutch valve. Bavarian Auto has an actual bypass valve that will accomplish what I am trying to do. After contacting them, they could not verify that the 2000 M Roadster even uses it so my question is:

Does the 2000 M Roadster use the clutch valve to limit a driver from "dropping" the clutch on takeoff and if so, will the unlock valve from Bimmer Auto fit. I'm assuming it's pretty much a "one size fits all" valve since there's only one part number.

Any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Your Z3M is already out of warranty. If it does have a clutch delay valve, just simply take it out. You don't need to buy a dummy CDV to replace it. People only get the dummy CDV when their cars are still under warranty.

Bavarian Auto says that I don't have one, speed shop in San Diego (I'm in Detroit) says I do, Dealers don't know diddly about it.... I'm just trying to find out if I have one or not so that I can get someone to take it out for me (I'm in an apartment and all of my tools are up North).

I'd appreciate any help on this matter.
