E90 exhaust questions

Hello,

I know my car is not anything huge and I am aware of that, but I'd like still to get some feedback on these few questions.

I own E90 series 3, 2.0 petrol (95kW)
It's nothing too big for the beginning.

So in regards of exhaust I know I could do these three things:
- resonator delete
- valve exhaust
- sport muffler

Should I do all three things or what would you suggest me to do with those combinations?

Thank you in advance!

I don't know what a valve exhaust is. However, there's lots of combinations.

Mine from the turbos back -

- 3" Catless downpipes
- Secondary cat delete w/ 2 1/2" Vibrant 1792 Resonators in their place
- 2 1/2" X-pipe
- 335is mufflers

This is on a cold start

If you haven’t seen it, but there is a section for the E9X on topics related to tuning, drivetrain, and exhaust modifications. Go to the following link and select which sub-forum applies to your ride and post your question there. You may get better answers or advice to your question in that thread.

Most of the people on the forum(including I) never got the 318i in the E90 chassis so cant say much about what to do for the sound of the N/A 2.0L.

I'm assuming BMW produced a P.E for the 4 cyl's as well so I would look into a "P.E" mod if you want to keep it to a good budget and reasonable sound; Not sure on availability for the 4 cyl PE exhausts on the used market.

Also look into the 320i and 320si. Both came with the same engine(or very similar) but had more HP so it may be a bigger or less restrictive system to start out with.

I have done a muffle delete on my 320i e92 and have added a silencer due to the extreme loudness. Anyone who has completed a muffler delete - have you guys been experiencing any problems? Any emission/o2 sensor or any other issues ?
