Can someone check something for me? (AC related)

I was wondering if someone could take a look at their cap for the schrader valve on the low side of the AC lines? My high side cap has an O-ring inside of it and my low side cap doesn't. I wonder if there should be one in it as well?

I looked on real oem and they don't list the O-rings for the caps.

Id really appreciate it if someone could take a look or if you simply know to let me know.

Thanks

Mitch

Oh now I see the attachment. Strange I cannot see your link on the APP but I have access to it on the computer. Unfortunately the document doesn't give the break down of the parts at the service port so I can't tell if it indeed requires an o'ring or not..

I would just need someone to physically check if theirs has one if possible.

I’d be happy to take a look. Will post with my findings. That said, I doubt the o-rings on these dinky caps do much, so probably not a big deal if yours is missing.

Thank you, i really appreciate it! I agree, it probably doesn't do much and i do not believe my leak is that location. It's mostly my OCD kicking in and wanting things to be as they should be lol

Looks like you have your answer!

I am certain the lack of gasket has nothing to do with your leak.

Nonetheless, it looks like a cheap replacement: $2.41 to be exact...

I totally agree, I'm very certain it's not the cause of my leak, I'm pretty sure it's my evaporator.

Thanks again man!
