So I am able to select the actual Caring car menu but when I go in there the 2 modes - vitalize and relax are both grayed out. When I click on either one it says that the climate should be set to auto (which mine is) and it talks about audio output - anyone know what this audio output thing is and how can I enable it to be able to use the caring car modes?

FWIW - I am on .48 for the software version.

When trying it do you have the engine running? I was fooling around with something the other day and the engine needed to be running in order for the climate system to be running. Maybe it is similar with the Caring Car app.

Yup when the car is on. Both the times I have tried it is when I was at a traffic light.

How about your audio, were you playing through CarPlay or a regular iDrive source?
