Hello guys,

I have a 2019 G30 540i. Before i bought it, I planed to upgrade it with the M Performance power and sound kit. Resently I contacted my dealer to book an appointment for installing the kit, and i now find out that my car, because of the new EU6 regulations, does not comply with the kit.

At first i thougt it was a joke, that the power kit suddenly wouldn't fit because of the new particle filter that the car has, but unfortunetly it is not.

Therefor i am really hoping that BMW will provide a new power kit for the car that meet the EU6 regulations, but I cant find any information on that.

I will therefor ask you, if you have any knowledge on whether BMW is working on a power kit for the newer cars, or if there is any other compareble power upgrades, that does not ruin the warrenty. That was the main reason me wanting the power kit from BMW.

Buy Remus it will pass EU6 specs without any issues (it has ECE certificate), as for warranty dealers will never tell you anything if you put axle back exhaust,and you can always put your old exhaust back if you have any issues.
i have Remus and it sounds amazing. It is fitted with flaps unlike the performance system. So if you drive in comfort it doesn't drone,and Sport and sport+ it opens up.Additionally if you want you can code it to be fully open with bimmer code or carly.
