Cool K&N Air Filter Vs. OEM

Could anybody tell me if there's a big difference in between the OEM (BMW part number 13717542294) Air filter and the K&N filter (33-2332). If so, would the air intake sensor give me problems when replacing it?

Air intaks sensor, you MAF(mass-air-flow) sensor. That was my first mod for improved performance. No worries. Just don't over do the oil spray or you will fuk the MAF and that is when the dealer can say you made a mod that caused an actual malfunction.

I made a bunch of runs switching the K&N in and out, noticed no difference whatsoever. Infact, my best trap was with the stock air filter. My 12.13 at the drag strip was with a totally stock air filter as well. But let me know if you want to buy my near new K&N, still in the orig box. I only used it a few hours.

But in all fairness, its not really the fault of the K&N. There have been numerous dyno tests showing almost no difference between running a filter and no filter at all.

I think a ram air scoop will help the K&N filter.
