No more arctic grey or tartufo

Picked up my 2019 50i yesterday. Was able to get the air purification package as well as the night vision.

Already last night, coming home from the dealer, I got a deer alert on the hud, a white and then orange outline of a deer on the side of the road on the infotainment screen and seconds later a big doe standing in the ditch. Amazing technology.

While at the dealer, they informed me that my combination Arctic Grey and Tartufo are both being discontinued. Alright with me, makes mine very unique.

Anybody else been told this?

No, but that is surprising. My dealer told me they have sold more Arctic Grey than any other color.

Awesome. Makes my X7 that much more unique. It’s a great color, one of the best BMW has created in decades.

We barely have enough color options as it is, why get rid of two really good looking choices? BMW needs to take a page from Merc and add more colors, need some green, red, blue and silvers coming in.

They must have run out of paint. Lol. Guess they sold a ton of that color. With MY change over around the corner - are they not bringing that color back? What do I know?? (Not much)

Hey, congrats on picking up the rig! Great to hear about the Night Vision usefulness too. And even on day 1!

My dealer told me that the Arctic Grey was a "Launch Color"
That it would end soon and not be available

Both Arctic Grey and Tartufo are showing as available in the 2020 ordering guide

Tartufo disappeared from the 2020 X5 ordering guide after being available in 2019, and I assumed it was gone for the X7 also, but I just checked the ordering guide stickied in this forum and it’s still there.

Interesting. Maybe trying to get rid of excess inventory and then it will disappear?
