Brake caliper scratched up...options to repair/repaint???

Just noticed my right front caliper is scratched on my new M5 Comp...car has 800 miles. Could have been done in theory during PDI or by my shop that did the H&R spring install. Either way, I don't know who did it and just noticed the issue.

Anyone know if these can be repainted? If so, how do I get the "M" emblem back on there?

They can be repainted and the emblems can easily be purchased. I did this on one of my F10 M5's and it looked perfect. Make sure you get the color code for the paint.

Where did you get the emblem...local BMW dealer parts department? How do I find the color code for the caliper?

I found the sticker on ebay. For the color, I posted on the F10 M5 forum and someone provided the color code.

good luck finding the color. i had the f90 wheel off yesterday, and i noticed the caliper is barely clearocated. it's not shiny, if at all. i'd suggest powder coating the caliper to withstand the heat btw.

most of the companies who do this type of work paint these calipers, you will also likely have much easier time matching the color with paint vs powder-coat.. that is if you want to retain factory color.
