Tirerack finally has wheels for the X2 M35i

I just checked the site and they had wheels for the M35i finally. Interesting that they went down to 18 inch wheels - didn't think there was enough room for 18s with those brakes.

Cool I just pulled it up for fun! Just to note, there is the caveat listed:
Original Equipment (O.E.) wheel size options for selected vehicle: 19", 20" the 18 inch is listed as a "-1" so It does look like they are acknowledging it correctly.

I know xcelir8bmw stated that he tried some 18's and they didn't fit, however, not all wheels are created equal. I'm not sure what the clearance problem was, but when I eyeball measured with a tape measure I think they would fit as long as the offset and spokes were straight enough to clear the calipers. Food for thought if I wear the tires down enough to warrant a swap to winters come thanksgiving

Anyone know what the stock offset is? It would also be nice to know the stock weight.

Stock 20s are 20x8 +50. You could probably get away with a 20x9 +40 which would be pretty flush.
