Shift Light not working

I have my shift light selected in the idrive display setting. However, it doesn’t come on. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this applies in your case but if you happen to have the HUD in M-view mode, shift lights on the digital instrument panel’s tach is disabled. Kinda odd that they do this, and even more unusual that they don’t offer an option to have shift lights enabled on both the HUD’s M-view and instrument panel at the same time, but that’s how it is.

Yes, I do have the HUD in M-view mode. I'll test it tomorrow without the M-view. Thank you so much as it was annoying me.

Remember that shift lights only work when you are accelerating fast. If you are just moving up the tach at a smooth slow pace, the shift lights will not work.

In my experience, you have to be driving in manual/S mode, using the paddles. Otherwise, the computer is shifting for you, and there's no point in having the shift lights.

Shift lights only work when your transmission is in S Mode aka Manual Mode and when you are pushing up the rpms fast & furious but the shift lights come and go pretty quickly though.
